Spacemaster® SX Wire Rope Hoist

The R&M Spacemaster® SX design utilizes a large drum diameter ensure the lowest headrooms and best wheel loads in the industry. The single reeved hoist provides near true vertical lift with only 1/8" of drift per foot of lift making load positioning accurate and easy. The reduce trolley frame allows exceptional hook approaches. The SX features low maintenance, sealed brakes, a two-speed hoist motor, and trolley inverter control.

Hoist and trolley motors: The standard hoist is two-speed with a 6:1 ratio. The motors are designed specifically for hoisting applications, offers high starting torque and ensures precise and reliable load handling. This motor is class F insulated. It is rated for use 30 minute out of an hour giving it a 60% effective duty. The trolley motor's standard VFD control offers two-step or infinitely variable control for smooth acceleration and deceleration, minimal load swing; fast, and precise load placement.

SX Model Standard Features:

• Capacities ranging from 1-1/2 Ton-20 Ton. Near true vertical lift (approximately 1/8" hook drift per foot of lift)
• Two speed hoist with a 6:1 speed ratio, contactor controlled. Hoist motor is class F insulated, 60% effective duty and thermally protected
• Sealed hoist brake for low maintenance. Approximately 40:1 drum to rope diameter ratio for extended rope life.
• Trolley motor with compact disc brake. Trolley bumpers included.
• Designed to meet ASME H4 duty. Standard NEMA 4 control enclosure
